Privacy Policy

Effective October 22, 2026. How we handle the information you share with us through this website.

What this policy covers

This policy explains how Aestiva Wellbeing (“we”, “us”) handles information collected through this website, aestivawellbeing.com. It covers the consultation request form, online booking, and the basic information any website receives when you visit it.

It does not cover the medical records we keep once you become a patient. Information you share during a consultation or treatment is protected health information and is handled under our Notice of Privacy Practices, which we provide at your first visit and on request.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a consultation or send us a note, we ask for your name, email address, phone number, the treatment you are interested in, how you prefer to be contacted, and anything you choose to write in the message box. When you book online, the booking tool collects your name, email address, the appointment you chose, and any notes you add.

Please do not send medical information through the website. Our forms are not designed to carry health history, medications or diagnoses. That conversation happens privately at your consultation.

Information collected automatically. Like any website, our hosting provider receives technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view and the time of your visit. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose problems.

How we use it

We use the information you give us to:

  • respond to your inquiry and arrange your consultation;
  • confirm, remind you of, or reschedule an appointment;
  • answer questions you have asked us; and
  • understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We will not add you to a marketing list without your permission.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site uses only the cookies needed for it to work, plus, where enabled, measurement tools such as Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking. These tell us, in aggregate, how people find the site, which pages they visit, and whether a consultation request or booking was completed. They do not tell us who you are.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can manage how Google uses information for advertising at adssettings.google.com.

Service providers

We use a small number of trusted providers to run this website. They handle information only on our behalf and only to provide their service:

  • website hosting, which serves the pages and keeps access logs;
  • an email delivery service, which passes consultation requests to our practice inbox;
  • Cal.com, which runs our online booking and sends your confirmation and reminder emails, under its own privacy policy; and
  • Google, for the analytics and measurement described above.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our patients, staff or the public.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and booking information for as long as we need it to respond to you and manage your appointments, and then for as long as we are required to for legal, tax or professional reasons. If you do not become a patient, you can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time.

How we protect it

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to inquiries is limited to the people at the practice who need it to respond to you. No method of sending or storing information online is perfectly secure, which is one more reason we ask that you keep medical details out of the website and bring them to your consultation.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you from the website, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@aestivawellbeing.com or call (412) 674-9477 and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to confirm your identity first.

Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through the site. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted on the site.
